Added new option to search for external content

USER EXPERIENCE

In this release, we have added the ability to search for external content using Microsoft 365 connectors. You can use the connectors managed by your organization. These can index data from applications such as Salesforce, Oracle SQL, and Azure DevOps.
This gives intranet administrators more flexibility, as they can centralize searches for content from all applications used by the client.
This can be configured in the Search Configuration within the Syntphony Settings, where administrators can create external verticals based on the customer’s needs.

As part of our commitment to making our platform more inclusive, which has led to the implementation of several enhancements designed to better support users of all abilities, we are making significant accessibility improvements in our latest product update.
In this release, improvements have been made to the Dashboard cards, the Quick links webpart and other general areas of the product.

We have improved the behavior of this webpart for external users. It now displays text informing them that this webpart is restricted for them, giving them better feedback as to why they did not receive any results.

The behavior of promoted content has been fixed

USER EXPERIENCE

Promoted content is now displayed in the All vertical view when the user has only filtered by the Scope field. This way, the user gets the correct information even if the scope is changed.

Fix for forward publishing news items

USER EXPERIENCE

When an editor tried to forward publish a news item, it would not be scheduled correctly, resulting in the content not appearing on the Dashboards when the editor wanted it to. We have fixed this behavior so that editors will now get the desired behavior when scheduling news.

General user experience improvements

USER EXPERIENCE

As part of improving the user experience, we have made improvements to the style and usability of product components.
For example, the overlap of certain panels with the configuration panel has been resolved. In addition, some text has been replaced to make it easier to understand the context of actions taken. On the other hand, the experience has been optimized for mobile resolutions.
