How to comment on a content?
People can comment contents in Syntphony digital workplace as well as reply to existing comments from other users.
There are 2 main places where comments can be set:
- From a content card within a Dashboard webpart.
- From the social bar within a specific content page. This only applies when the content is derived from Site Page.
Comment from a dashboard card
When a dashboard component is included on a page, the social bar allows you to comment the content, see the number of comments on the content as well as the users who have commented that content.
To comment on a specific content you have to click on the “comments” button located in the social bar of the card.
The comments panel will automatically appear on the right side of the screen. From this panel you can view other users’ comments and add your comment.
Community managers and owners can remove a specific comment.
The number next to the button represents the number of users who have commented on that content.
Comment from social bar in specific page
When the content is derived from the content type Site page SharePoint OOTB, Syntphony displays the social bar also at the bottom of the page. The operation of the buttons is the same as in the previous case.
