How to like a content?
The first social interaction that Syntphony allows is to like content. This can be done from two different places:
- From a content card within a Dashboard webpart.
- From the social bar within a specific content page.
Like from a dashboard card
When a dashboard component is included on a page, the social bar allows you to like a piece of content, see the number of likes on the content as well as the users who have liked that content.
To give a “like” to a specific content you have to click on the “like” button located on the social bar of the card. Automatically the icon will be coloured indicating that the like has been processed. In case you want to remove the “like” you just have to click on the same button again.
The number displayed next to the button represents the number of users who have liked that content. By clicking on this number you can open a panel that shows which users have liked the content.
Like from social bar in specific page
When the content is derived from the content type Site page SharePoint OOTB, Syntphony displays the social bar also at the bottom of the page. The operation of the buttons is the same as in the previous case.
