Audience attributes
Audience: This article is intended for Syntphony admins
Attributes explanation and usage
Syntphony audiences are based on a set of attribute conditions which user profiles must meet to accomplish them. Attributes are metadata properties of different types (string, integer, datetime, etc) which are defined while creating the user profiles in Syntphony.
A Syntphony admin can see the audience attributes available in the tenant by browsing to Syntphony Settings > This tenant > Audiences > Attribute list
.
Attributes creation
In Syntphony attributes are created automatically when user profiles are informed with their entire attributes as shown in the section
By calling product APIs to create or update user profiles and their properties will automatically process and store available atributes.
User profile attributes are the source for audience attributes and are in sync. This means that if new users with new profile properties are created, these properties will be available as audience attributes.
Attributes edition
While attribute creation process is automatic by calling Syntphony APIs while storing user profiles and its properties, Syntphony admins can
edit attribute titles through Syntphony Settings.
To do so, a Syntphony admin can browse to Syntphony Settings > This tenant > Audiences > Attribute list
By clicking in the pencil button the admin user can change the attribute description. It makes easier to identify them while configuring audiences.
