Supports SharePoint Custom Fonts
Syntphony Employee Intranet seamlessly integrates with SharePoint’s new custom font functionality, allowing you to apply your organization’s branding consistently across your intranet.
Functionality
When custom brand fonts are configured at the SharePoint site level, Syntphony Employee Intranet components automatically adopt these fonts, ensuring a unified and branded user experience.
Configuration
To utilize this feature, you need to configure custom fonts within your SharePoint site settings. Once applied, Syntphony components will inherit these font settings.
Important Consideration
Due to a known limitation within the SharePoint platform (Custom font CSS variables is empty if you revert to default font · Issue #9902 · SharePoint/sp-dev-docs), a page refresh might be necessary to visualize the applied custom fonts within Syntphony Employee Intranet components after the initial font change in SharePoint. This behavior is specific to how SharePoint applies custom fonts to third-party solutions. Native SharePoint web parts will update immediately for the user making the change.
Steps to Ensure Font Consistency
- Configure your desired custom fonts within the SharePoint site settings as outlined in the official Microsoft documentation: Brand fonts - SharePoint in Microsoft 365 | Microsoft Learn.
- After applying the custom fonts in SharePoint, refresh the page to ensure the updated fonts are reflected in all Syntphony Employee Intranet components.
Reference
For detailed instructions on managing custom fonts in SharePoint, refer to the official Microsoft documentation: Brand fonts - SharePoint in Microsoft 365 | Microsoft Learn.
By following these steps, you can effectively leverage SharePoint’s custom font feature to enhance the branding and visual consistency of your Syntphony Employee Intranet.
